The Land Within...

These started as an assignment and grew to be a hobby. I took profile portraits of friends and family and superimposed landscapes over top them using Photoshop. The landscapes have a personal connection to the individual and therefore are "The Land Within" that person. Whether it's the environment we were raised in or just where we feel most comfortable, I believe where we come from has a great hold over us.

Handsome Hooligan branding

I decided to brand a fictional pub called the Handsome Hooligan. It's a British style pub so the accompanying design follows that theme.

Dr. No book cover

As a group project we designed covers for books by the same author. Our group designed for Ian Fleming's James Bond series. They had to be unique to the book but worked as a cohesive group. So we decided to use bars along the bottom, icons on the spine, the same typeface, and similar cover styles to hold the series together but used different colors and individual icons to differentiate between the book. My book was Dr. No.
